I have the same reflex with the double standard kit... did you use the standard objective 40-150 mm ??

I also have the DCR 250, impossible to use with the 14-42mm...
With 40-150 mmm, the DOF is difficult and delicate without flash, and I have no external flash.
The flash of the camera makes a shadow because of the length of the zoom.

@Francesc B.: well, i've tried to use it with 14-42, but it's really impossible.
i don't have external flash too, so i used to make macro shots when
the sun is quite good.
